Design in the Brussels-Capital Region
The word "design" covers many specialities from object design to interior design. The capital of Art Nouveau, Brussels has for a long time combined the creativeness of its architects with that of its designers. In the wake of the great Belgian architect-designers, several Brussels designers have made their names in major exports to both Asia and Africa. Furniture, light-fittings and textiles complement the work of the interior designers.
